See who watched
The Links page's views for each film and deck: plays, viewers, completion, embeds and where people stopped.
Every published link counts its views, without knowing who the viewers are.
The Links page
In the web app, open Links. It lists every published film and deck, with who can open it, its plays, and when it was published. Press a title to see its views.
A link's views
For a film:
- Plays: each play that got past the first half-second.
- Viewers: how many different browsers played it.
- Watched to the end: the share of plays that reached the close.
- Average watched: how much of the film a play covered, on average.
- In embeds: plays in an embed, and the sites they were on.
- Plays by day: a bar for each day that had plays, up to the last 30 of them.
- How far people got: the share of plays that reached each line. A steep drop marks the line where people stop watching.
For a deck, views count slides reached instead of seconds watched: Views, Viewers, Read to the end, Average read, and how far people got by slide.
The numbers start from when the link was first published, and carry on across new versions.
What is not counted
Views are counted with random ids, one for the play and one for the browser. No address, account or cookie is kept, so you cannot see who watched. See How views are counted.
