Embed a film
Put a published film in your docs, help centre or intranet with its embed code.
A published film has an embed code you can paste into any page that accepts HTML, such as docs, a help centre or an intranet.
Before you start
The film is published. See Publish a film at a link.
Steps
- In the web app, open the film's recording and press Copy embed on the Publish card. Or open Links, choose the film, and press Copy embed under Embed.
- Paste the code into your page.
The embed is the film alone, in a frame that keeps the film's own shape and fills the width it is given.
Who can watch an embed
- A link for Anyone with the link plays wherever it is pasted.
- A link for Your organisation plays only for people signed in to Showreel Studio in your organisation.
Views from embeds
Plays in embeds are counted with the link's other views. The link's page in Links shows In embeds and the sites the film was embedded on. See See who watched.
Good to know
- Decks have a link but no embed code.
- When you publish a newer version, embeds play it too, with no change to the code.
- If you withdraw the link, the embed stops playing everywhere.
