Terms

These terms are between [company name] (“we”) and the organisation that holds a Showreel Studio licence (“you”). They cover the software, the service at app.showreelstudio.app and the help centre.

1. What you get

For the plan and term on your licence, you may use Showreel Studio to make films, decks and walkthroughs of your own products, for the number of makers and contributors your plan covers. Viewers are free.

2. Your material

Storyboards, recordings, films, decks, kits and everything else you make are yours. We claim nothing in them, and use them only to run the service for you.

3. Your AI and your cloud

Writing runs on your own Claude plan or Claude API key, and the voice-over on your own Google Cloud project. You pay those providers directly under your own agreements with them. We never spend on our own accounts for you unless we have agreed so in writing.

4. Using it fairly

Don't copy or share the software beyond your licence, work around the licence check, use it to build a competing product, film apps you have no right to film, or publish films that break the law or others' rights. We may withdraw a public link that does, and tell you why.

5. Plans and payment

Prices are on the website, excluding VAT and sales tax. [Trial, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds to be set out when billing starts.] Design partners' half price lasts twelve months from the start of their plan.

6. Ending

You may stop at any time. We may end or suspend your licence if these terms are broken. When it ends, stop using the software; you keep everything you made.

7. Our responsibility

We fix problems reported in good faith, but the software is provided as it is and we promise no particular result. We are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
